Wiltshire College & University Centre’s BA (Hons) Early Years and Childhood Studies programme is celebrating a hugely successful year after half of its most recent graduates achieved first-class honours.
Jordan McMahon, Chloe Cooper, and Rhianna Lucas all attained the highest possible grade for their course and, along with the rest of their classmates, graduated at the College’s annual Graduation at Salisbury Cathedral at the end of October.
The College’s BA (Hons) Early Years and Childhood Studies is run at the Trowbridge campus and validated by Oxford Brookes University.
Becky Ovenden, programme lead for the course, said: “Congratulations to all of our recent graduates. For half of the class to finish with first-class honours is a wonderful achievement.
“Combining studies and gaining workplace experience in an Early Years setting has not been easy over the past few years but every member of the group has a real passion for the sector and they have all worked tremendously hard to achieve success.”
Wiltshire College & University Centre offers Early Years courses at post-16 and university level, including apprenticeships. Find out more about our course in the sector here.
