A group of Health & Social Care students from Wiltshire College & University Centre have been learning about the industry overseas after taking part in a work experience trip to Portugal.
Students from the Trowbridge and Chippenham campuses took part in the two-week long project, which was organised in conjunction with Erasmus.
As part of their placements, students took up roles in various care settings and all worked incredibly hard to engage with staff and support the residents and children despite the language barriers. Their superb attitude resulted in the group receiving great feedback from the placement organisers.
Outside of the placement work, students took part in several culture trips and activities where they were polite and respectful at all times.
Well done to everyone involved!
