Apprenticeship Vacancies

Applying for an apprenticeship is easy...
Do you have an employer?

Yes, I do:

If you already have an employer and they have agreed to put you through an apprenticeship, contact the Apprenticeship team and we'll get you started. Email apprenticeships@wiltshire.ac.uk or call 0845 345 2235.

No, I don't:

If you don’t have an employer you can still apply for an apprenticeship directly - check out our latest apprenticeship vacancies below or visit the Government website to find apprenticeships across the country here.

If you can't find an apprenticeship that you're interested in there, don't worry, apply for an apprenticeship online and we'll be in touch - click on the Apprenticeships at the College button.

Useful Hints and Tips for applying

We have some useful documents to help you when applying for an apprenticeship vacancy: CV template, how to write a cover letter, some interview tips and a sample application.

What happens after I've applied?

Once we've received your application form, we'll be in contact to give you advice and guidance on how to go about finding an employer and will be invited into the relevant Wiltshire College and University Centre campus to complete Initial Assessments in maths, English and ICT as well as an additional subject-specific assessment depending on the apprenticeship you have applied for.

The Initial Assessment session will give you the opportunity to ask questions about the apprenticeship programme and to check that you meet the entry criteria. Please note, it is a compulsory requirement of the Education and Skills Funding Agency for all apprentices to complete Initial Assessments before starting an apprenticeship programme.

Alternatively, visit us at one of our Open Events to find out more about the apprenticeships we offer.
