Meet Paul, programme lead for our Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Biomedical Science
I have been a professional Chartered Chemist for 25 years, working as an industrial chemist and have been teaching in Further Education for 5 years. My time in the chemical industry allows me to share interesting real-life experiences with students.
My specialism is in Analytical Chemistry, which I am able to apply to my teaching in the Life Science disciplines. I have also been involved in delivering Access to Higher Education courses, and have written a range of academic and vocational courses for a number of colleges.
My interests include yachting: I’ve taken part in a number of RORC yacht races and the Fastnet Yacht Race. I am also an avid beekeeper!
