Course Overview
What will I learn?
As an Advanced and Creative Hair Professional apprentice you’ll learn how to be a creative, passionate, and driven professional who works without supervision, managing themselves and others when required. How to take ownership of your work and client lists, accept responsibility, be proactive, flexible and adaptable, plan your work and time, aim for excellence by taking exceptional pride in your work and industry. You’ll develop the skills and knowledge to become a skilled and experienced professional who delivers hair fashion forward trends, which are innovative styles inspired by current images and their own creativity, individual flair, imagination and interpretation.
Study, Assessment and Qualifications
Over the course of the apprenticeship, you’ll build a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates all of the knowledge, skills and behaviours in L3 Advanced and Creative Har Professional apprenticeship standard. This will help to prepare you for the end point assessment at the end of thew apprenticeship. In addition, you’ll also achieve a L3 Diploma in Advanced and Creative Hair Professional.
Entry Requirements
You’ll need GCSEs in English and Maths at Level 4 or above, or be willing to achieve L2 functional skills in these two subjects as part of your apprenticeship.
