Course Overview
Having completed French Year 3 this is the perfect French course for people who have good French knowledge and would like to improve it by being able to use more complex sentences, reinforce their speaking and understanding skills, as well as their writing.
What will I learn?
On completion you should be able to: hold a conversation in French on many subjects such as daily life and family, describe your activities, speak about weather or places you know, but also give your opinion, take part on debate on different topics, describe many things in detail.
A large part will be on complex grammar studies such as: pronouns, relative sentences, tenses such as conditional, subjunctive, irregular verbs, indirect speech and report conversation, how to use different past tenses.

- Cinema
- Environment
- French culture
Study, Assessment and Qualifications
Assessment is informal, based on your personal targets and the learning outcomes and will be undertaken regularly with you by the course tutor.
Entry Requirements
You should have completed the French Year 3 course at the College or similar establishment or have a sufficient understanding of the French language through your own experience or previous study, and want to gain confidence in using your language skills.

You should bring writing materials with you to make notes.
