Course Overview

The construction industry is one of the largest and broadest to work in, employing around 7% of the UKs workforce, and there is always a demand for skilled professionals. An apprenticeship in construction is a form of vocational training where you will follow an NOCN approved standard to develop skills and knowledge and then demonstrate and evidence your application in a construction environment. Groundworkers need to have a good eye for detail, as well as good maths skills.

What will I learn?

The Level 2 Groundworker apprenticeship allows you to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment or career progression in Groundworks.
It will give you the theoretical knowledge you need to succeed in the industry, the practical skills to produce work to a high standard, and an understanding of health and safety, materials and sustainability.
