Course Overview
If you have a keen interest in business and technology subjects, this introductory course provides a great starting point. You will develop the knowledge and skills required to be successful in business, applying digital technologies to meet industry related objectives. You'll cover a range of business and IT subjects to open doors to further study in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, information technology and related areas.
What will I learn?
You'll develop and gain digital skills, such as developing an interactive presentation, developing digital information, and creative a website. Digital skills gained on the course will be applied to business scenarios such as creating a spreadsheet to solve problems, branding a product, and presenting a business idea.
You’ll develop and demonstrate a wide range of skills that will support your employability, such as being organised, developing a personal progression plan, working with others, and researching a topic.
Study, Assessment and Qualifications
BTEC Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Vocational Studies.
Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs at grade 2 or above, including Maths or English, or equivalent.
A good reference.
A satisfactory interview.
