Course Overview
During this course you will be taught the skills and knowledge required to demonstrate how they are capable of independently supervising and motivating a team working under pressure delivering excellent customer service in a hospitality environment.The apprenticeship standards “knowledge, skills and behaviours” are developed over the course of the programme via scheduled learning interventions with employer mentors and Lifetime regional trainers.
What will I learn?
A hospitality supervisor can operate in a range of functions across a business. This may be food and beverage service, front office, housekeeping, concierge or events and is likely to appeal to an apprentice who has a clear career path in mind after working in one or more of the occupations. The primary objective of a hospitality supervisor occupation apprentice is to gather the skills, knowledge and behaviours to prepare them for supervision/management within the industry.
Study, Assessment and Qualifications
The duration of this apprenticeship is 12-18 months and it will be completed solely in the workplace alongside supported assessments that lead onto your final independent end point assessment.
Progression from this apprenticeship could lead you into a hospitality management position and more. It is also the progression route to complete a level 4 Hospitality management apprenticeship.
Entry Requirements
You will need maths and English GCSE passes at grade C or above, if not you will need to pass maths and English Functional Skills level 2 during the Apprenticeship.
