Course Overview
This qualification is designed to support the development of registered managers of adult social care services. The qualification provides learners with the knowledge and skills needed to work in adult social care and to have responsibility for leading and managing a service.
What will I learn?
This qualification is suitable for those working in a managerial role in adult care settings who are looking to progress their career. This will include managing and improving care and support for those accessing the service, supporting and developing the workforce, and driving the vision for their service or organisation.
It covers a wide range of topics including:

Study, Assessment and Qualifications
Learners must achieve 80 credits from the 20 mandatory units and a minimum of 15 credits from the optional units to achieve a minimum of 95 credits in total.
This is not a taught course, you will study in your own time supported by an assessor who will visit you in your workplace to observe your practice.
Entry Requirements
Applicants must have achieved the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, or equivalent, and be in a managerial position with responsibility for leading and managing a service.

The cost of this course is £4,670. There are no textbooks for this course, any books the learner wishes to purchase will be at the own cost.
