Wiltshire College and University Centre is committed to the wellbeing of its students and is aware there may be times when you need support and assistance with your studies or personal issues. The College provides a number of services to support you whether it be with Tutors, wellbeing advisors, counselling, sport and physical activity and equality and diversity. For further information on any of these services please email: safe@wiltshire.ac.uk.
*There may, however, be times when there is high demand for counselling and on those occasions, we reserve the right to limit the number of sessions to no more than six per student.
“They help me cope with day to day ups and downs when I feel confused or upset.”

Wellbeing Advisors
Each campus has a wellbeing adviser to support you with personal, social, health and wellbeing matters on a day-to-day basis. The wellbeing advisors can, for example, break down problems into simple choices to help you decide what to do next. The wellbeing advisor may signpost you to other support services as appropriate.
Counselling
There is also a Counselling Service is available to all full-time and part-time students enrolled at the College. The service is free and term-time only. In general, there is no limit to the number of sessions or the number of times that students can access the Counselling Service. Some students come only once or twice, some for a term or longer, this is negotiated with each student.
Enrichment
Tutors on each campus run a series of events including fundraising, guest speakers and pop-ups to promote a safe and respectful culture in college and raise awareness of wider community issues such as substance misuse, sexual exploitation, equality and diversity, keeping safe online, safe and healthy relationships and radicalisation and extremism (Prevent).
Equality and Diversity is at the heart of everything we do at the College. The College is a place where everyone can be themselves without fear of discrimination or harassment and be supported to achieve to the best of their ability. This means not just for our staff and students, but also anyone else who comes in contact with the college. Please visit our Policies page under The College and find our Equality and Diversity policy.
